A native of Quito, Ecuador, David A. Beltran, DMD moved to Central Florida in 1993. He attended the University of South Florida with a Presidential Scholarship and a Piano Scholarship, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine to obtain his Doctorate of Dental Medicine and Periodontology from Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Beltran is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology. He specializes in all aspects of periodontal treatment, including regenerative and cosmetic surgical procedures, the placement of dental implants and surgical removal of third molars.
The Beltran family has grown three generations of dentists, starting with David’s father, Dr. Juan Manuel Beltran, a general dentist. In addition, his uncle Dr. Luis Alberto Beltran, also became a general dentist. Both his brother Jose (D.M.D.) and sister Rosa (M.D. D.D.S., Pathologist) followed in their father’s legacy. The newest generation of doctors is his nephew Dr. Alexander Manuel Beltran (D.D.S.) and Dr. Kevin Michael Coy (M.D. Cardiologist).
